Are you fresh out of university and eager to try out things in the banking industry but don’t know where to start? Start here as a CYS Management Associate and undergo an accelerated preparation program to fast-track your experience in the cross-border payment (Banking and FinTech) industry, where you will learn and appreciate different aspects of the core part of the banking business.

Preparing You for Banking or Finance Placement

You will go through comprehensive and well-structured classroom training, plus On Job Training (OJT) experience to cover the industry best practices, standards and conventions, regulatory requirements, compliance culture, and the latest emerging FinTech development. Subjects covered are:

Foreign Exchange (FX) Operation, Currency Settlement Convention and Cross-Border Payment Processes
Know-Your-Customer (KYC), Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) and Politically Exposed Person (PEP)
Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Countering Financing of Terrorism (CFT)
Risk Based Approach (RBA) and Transaction Monitoring (TM)
Strategic Planning, Risk Management, and Internal Compliance

AN EARN-AS-YOU-LEARN-ON-THE-JOB PROGRAM

Start earning as much as S$3,500 a month once qualified and up to S$3,800 per month after the first year. Enjoy other benefits such as paid leaves, medical care, free snacks, in-house free breakfast, and lunch (no kidding). You only work from 9 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday, and will get to take on significant job responsibilities right from the beginning of the Program. You will undergo job rotations, undertake strategic corporate projects, and resolve real-life, real-time business situations.

Access to IBF and CMFAS Learning Curriculum

You will have full access to the Institute of Banking & Finance (IBF) courses, the Capital Markets and Financial Advisory Services (CMFAS) exams, as well as the Client Advisor Competency Standards (CACS) assessments and the Financial Markets Regulatory Practices (FMRP) examinations. The CMFAS Examinations are the licensing examinations for the capital markets and financial advisory services in Singapore.
