On Friday, December 6, 2024, CYS Global Remit convened its 18th Annual Managerial Meeting at the ThickSpace Boardroom of the American Club. This important gathering was primarily focused on presenting our Work Plan for 2025, providing a vital platform for aligning our strategic objectives and promoting collaboration among our leadership team.
Meeting Highlights
The meeting commenced at 4:30 PM, with our Managing Director, Carl S K Cheung, emphasizing the necessity of synergy among different functional units. He encouraged each stakeholder to contribute their insights and initiatives, fostering a collaborative spirit aimed at driving our organization forward. We welcomed 14 speakers, including our Chief Officers, Senior Managers, and Managers.
All stakeholders shared their initiatives and anticipated outcomes for the upcoming year. Notable highlights included the Sales team's strategy to expand CYS payment options in China and enhance sales growth through lead generation. The FinTech team focused on fortifying internal infrastructure and data protection, while the Operations team presented initiatives aimed at optimizing current workflows and improving customer onboarding processes. Additionally, the HR team introduced new initiatives to enhance recruitment and strengthen CYS’s culture and branding.
To conclude the meeting, our CEO & Deputy MD, Ann S K Wee, shared a motivational video titled "Grit: The Power of Passion and Perseverance.” This video underscored the importance of unity and collaboration in pursuing our shared goals for 2025, encouraging everyone to embrace challenges, persevere through difficulties, and remain committed to their objectives.
A Memorable Dinner
Following the meeting, the team gathered at Kam Boat Teochew Restaurant for a delightful dinner. The atmosphere was lively, filled with laughter and camaraderie, as we enjoyed a diverse array of dishes accompanied by refreshing beverages. This gathering provided a wonderful opportunity to unwind after a productive day. As we look forward to a successful 2025 and achieving our initiatives, we also celebrate the significant accomplishments of the past year.
