As Christmas approaches, we enter a season of celebration, connection, and reflection. For many, Christmas Day signifies much more than just a holiday; it embodies joy, warmth, and a profound reminder of the true essence of giving. The significance of Christmas lies in its capacity to unite individuals from diverse backgrounds, fostering a spirit of kindness, charity, and community. It is a time to share love and joy, while also reflecting on the hope and renewal that this season brings. 

At CYS Global, we are committed to bringing these values to life by creating opportunities for young people to gather, reflect, and engage meaningfully during the holiday season. Through a variety of activities and celebrations, we strive to ensure that the spirit of Christmas is widely felt, encouraging our youth to embrace this season with enthusiasm and gratitude. 

Morning Snapshot 🎄: Get Ready for the Christmas Special Quiz! 

The day commenced with an engaging and festive Christmas Special Quiz designed to set a jubilant tone. Participants explored questions related to Christmas traditions, holiday history, festive songs, and popular Christmas movies. 

Quiz Prizes: Our winners, Derrick Pang from the Client Management Unit and Te Hui Ling from FX Sales, each received a $20 Takashimaya cash voucher 🎁💵—a wonderful way to spread a little extra holiday cheer! 

For those who didn’t make it to the top, the bottom 10 faced a humorous forfeit: singing and dancing to "Jingle Bells"—an enjoyable challenge that brought plenty of laughter to the event. 🕺🎶

Embracing the Spirit of Christmas Day 🎄 

In the spirit of the season, our CEO and Deputy Managing Director, Ann Wee, has wholeheartedly embraced the joy of giving. This year, she personally oversaw the selection and wrapping of thoughtful gifts for every staff member, expressing appreciation for their hard work and dedication throughout the year. This gesture not only fosters a positive and supportive work environment but also ensures that every employee feels valued and cherished during this special time. It serves as a powerful reminder of the strong sense of community that makes CYS a remarkable place to work.
