Key topics included the digitalization of the remittance industry, the rise of open banking, and the role of Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) in the global economy. Technology took centre stage, and we were excited to discover the latest innovations shaping the payments landscape. For CYS Global Remit, the summit was not just about staying updated; it was also about building and nurturing relationships. Networking with global leaders and reconnecting with key partners from Singapore and Malaysia, including Ample Transfers and Tranglo, invigorated us with new collaborative project ideas for enhancing cross-border payments.

After the intense conference sessions, the CYS team explored Dubai, known for its stunning architecture and endless adventures. The team visited the Dubai Mall, home to the incredible Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo. The aquarium’s glass-bottom boat ride offered a captivating view of marine life, including sharks and a massive 900 kg crocodile—a thrilling experience that provided a perfect way to unwind.
Dinner with Partners: Networking in Style
Dining with our partners from Tranglo and Tencent at a Japanese fusion restaurant with views of the iconic Burj Khalifa was an unforgettable experience. The fusion cuisine delight and relaxed atmosphere fostered meaningful discussions about future collaborations, strengthening our partnerships.
