A Report by CYS Global Remit Human Resource Management Unit
Following our recent article on the importance of a Business Resumption Plan (BRP), we’re thrilled to share the results of our latest BRP activation exercise, held over two consecutive days in July 2024.
Day One: July 17, 2024
Our BRP drill kicked off at 6:55 AM, led by the Event facilitators. Impressively, the entire CYS team acknowledged the activation within 12 minutes.
By 9:01 AM, all team members had arrived at our alternate site, NTU Alumni Club’s Function Hall 1, with CEO’s homemade fried bee hoon breakfast fuelling the team. Despite the change of setting, operations ran seamlessly, including morning town-hall meeting, evening meetings, and scheduled interviews. A hot lunch from our in-house Pantry Service Team and constant access to refreshments kept energy levels high.
The day wrapped up with a collaborative cleanup and thorough debrief.
Day Two: July 18, 2024
A surprise second activation at 6:55 AM saw a slightly slower acknowledgment time of 36 minutes. However, by 9:09 AM, everyone was back at the NTU Alumni Club, ready for another day powered by CEO's hotdog breakfast.
